In Turin there have been around for four new natural gas buses equipped with a device that puts the engine on standby at each stop.
It 's the first use of this technology in Italy called "Start & Stop."
Compared with a bus in category "Euro 0", these new means of reducing 99% of particulate emissions and hydrocarbons by 98% those of carbon monoxide and 89% those of nitrogen oxides.
The device also allows you to save 8% of fuel.
